KXT Dosing System-Coal Dosing System

INTRODUCTION

KXT pulverized coal dosing and control system has performed 30t/h pulverized coal measurement in cement production line. The KXT(M) system which passed the qualification of China Construction Material Industry Association in Mar. 2006, was award the First Prize of China Building Material Science Technology Prize in Science and Technology Process, the Second Prize of China National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology. The KXT(M) system is widely used in new erect NSP cement production line and old factory transformation, and cross-industry used in rotary kiln pulverized coal measurement of alumina industry and steel industry.
The KXT(M) system is composed by WD flow-stabilizing pre-feeder, KL flow meter, NL pneumatic screw pump and control cabinet. The key device of the system is KL powdery material flow meter. Based on the special measuring principle of Coriolis force, the mass flow of powdery material is measured by the flow meter accurately. The KXT(M) is operating in 300-5000t/d cement production line pulverized coal kiln and silo feeding.

    FEATURE   

1.Composing of the KXT(M) system
The KXT(M) system is composed by WD flow-stabilizing pre-feeder, KL flow meter, NL pneumatic screw pump and control cabinet. The flow-stabilizing pre-feeder is installed under the pulverized coal bunker, which supply steady flow pulverized coal. The pulverized coal enter into KXT meter through flow-stabilizing pre-feeder, the control device base on the flow rate feed back to the flow-stabilizing pre-feeder to adjust the rotating speed. The pulverized coal after measurement enter into delivery duct through NL screw pump.

2.1 WD flow-stabilizing pre-feeder

As steady feeder device, WD flow-stabilizing pre-feeder and KL flow meter constitute a closed loop control, through frequency and speed control, feeding as the requirement of setting flow rate.

2.2 KL flow meter
KL(M) flow meter uses the science of particle acceleration and its resultant forces to measure flow rate with the principle of Coriolis force.
KL(M) flow meter is applied in powdery material accurate measurement. In the cement industry, can be applied in pulverized coal and raw meal kiln feeding to rotary kiln, fly ash dosing, bulk cement measurement etc.
KL(M) flow meter also widely used in powdery material measurement of the industry of metallurgy, electric power, chemical, grain, port, medicine, nonmetallic mines etc.

2.3 NL pneumatic screw pump
The NL pneumatic screw pump combined the advantage of conditional screw pump and fuller pump with novel structure and superior performance. The pump with high adaptability to the variation of pulverized coal delivery duct pressure, can eliminate the adverse impact of delivery air fluctuation to pulverized coal delivery. Using high performance abrasive resistant material, adopting air seal and oil seal technology, applying external adjustable counterweight, with manual refuel device.
2.4 KXT system control
The KXT system adopt PLC control and use man-machine conversation, touch screen operation, constituting independent operation and control system. The control system take charge the task of signal acquisition, state estimation, error correction, operation processing, data presentation, system regulating, system communication etc, through point-to-point or serial communication to upper computer (DCS system) .
Up to Dec. 2007, more than 320 sets of the KXT system are applied in 1000-5000t/d cement production line. About 30 sets of the system hane been exported to Vietnam,Burma,Pakistan,Georgia etc.
◇ In May 2002, the KXT (M) system began to operate in the 500t/d cement production line of Jiaosai Cement factory in Burma without any fault more than 4 years until now.
◇ In July 2002, the KXT (M) system is applied to the Modification of the fuel project of a NSP 3200t/d production line of the BESTWEY Cement Co. Ltd in Pakistan, and it operated without any fault more than 3 years from February 2003.
◇ From August 2005, 8 sets of KXT (M) system has been exported to Vietnam, and operated in 1000~1500t/d production lines separately.
◇ In July 2006, the BESTWEY Cement Co Ltd in Pakistan has ordered 5 sets of KXT (M) system again.
◇ In September 2006, the SAQCEMENTI Cement Co Ltd in Georgia has ordered 6 sets of KXT (M) system.
